Product
The company develops technology of glue compositions (bioglues) production using microbial polysaccharides and modified offals of microbiological and processing industries (dairy, brewing, sugar enterprises, distilleries) as a raw. Molasses, stillage, lactoserum are used to produce bioglues.
The major component of the proposed bioglue is dextran produced by harmless microorganisms (used in the food-processing industry) as a result of polysaccharide biotransformation. Polysaccharides are contained in the organic offal of food industries (molasses, stillage, lactoserum).
Dextrans are the polyglucosides which are synthesized of sucrose by microorganisms as well as by enzymatic agents, extracted from the cultures of the same microorganisms.
The finished product – bioglue – is a viscous dark-brown fluid with low odor of burnt sugar.
Bioglue is intended to replace the toxic formaldehyde resin, commonly used by the manufacture of wood-based panels, providing a new ecological and safe biobinder instead.
Environmentally friendly, safe and harmless technologies are in the focus of the world-wide mainstream.
By structure, mode of production and environmental safety the proposed glue composition (bioglue) refers to the group of natural glues. Actually the natural glues are out of production in view of raw materials lack and their high costs. Presently the search of the new chemical components for synthetic glues, which will allow reducing their toxicity, is highly developed.
