Biotechnology company “BioEco” was founded on January 28, 2011.
Three months later, on April 28, 2011, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development resolved to make a contract with CJSC “BioEco” on technical/innovational activity in the Tomsk Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of technical/innovational type. Certificate of registration as the SEZ resident в„– 2011700229226 from July 11, 2011.
The SEZ residents have significant preferences on budget assignment: exemption from custom duty, export VAT, land charges, transport tax and tax on wealth.
Rates of income tax and pension fund payments are considerably reduced.
Line of activity: Technology of ecological bioglues production for manufacturing of wood-based panels (particleboard, fibreboard, MDF, OSB, LVL).
Purpose of the company: production of glue compositions based on environmentally safe components in order to replace toxic synthetic formaldehyde resins by manufacturing of wood-based panels.

Protection of human health and environment is an integral part of our company’s activity.
Laboratory scale technology of bioglue production is available at the moment, as well as a product sample – pressed wood particles mixed with bioglue (t – 160 РЎ, P – 2,5 MPa).
The main task at the present stage of R&D is bioglue improvement: the optimal composition of the bioglue will be defined in order to match the physical-mechanical parameters of the wood-based panels with those required by the Russian State Standard (GOST).
Organization of own production area: after the semiindustrial samples of biopanel will be developed, it is proposed to attract additional investments to organize the bioglue production.
R&D and production process take place on the floorspace of “Special Economic Zone of technical/innovational type “Tomsk” PLC leased by CJSC “BioEco”.
Our company consists of two main units:
I R&D Unit (biological and chemical laboratories: completion of product, trial consignment and semiindustrial samples, development of process flow documentation and elaboration of new commercially perspective applications;
II Economic Unit:
- management (formation of company’s development strategy, strategic and tactical planning),
- marketing (marketing research, promotion, sales, advertising),
- finance (attracting investment, allocation of financial resources).
